90’s Kids Can Say Goodbye to Microsoft Paint

July 25, 2017

Just because 90’s fashion is back, doesn’t mean everything about the decade is still cool. Microsoft announced today that the program will be retired in the new Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

The program first launched in 1985 with Windows 1.0. Despite technological advancements, the program has remained steadfast. Do not, however, let your inner 90’s child despair. Microsoft will be replacing Microsoft Paint with an updated version, titled Paint 3D.

No official date or time has been announced for the removal of the program, so relive the memories with all the paint buckets and squiggle lines while you can.
