Just over two years ago, Bianca Cheah turned her personal blog, Sporteluxe, into a full-blown business – and while it’s been no fairytale, it’s certainly been a dream come true for this Aussie #girlboss. She has since inspired, encouraged, and empowered women around the world to be the best they can be, and trust us when we say that she’s only getting started. Get to know the beauty and brains behind Sporteluxe below.

As the Founder and CEO of Sporteluxe.com, you definitely have one of our dream jobs! Can you tell us about the Sporteluxe journey since its inception in 2012 and how it all came to be?
Sporteluxe started as my personal blog, and as it evolved I quickly realized that there were a lot of like-minded people out there who shared and liked what I had to say. In May 2014, I made the decision to commercialize it. Since then, it has had three iterations, has over 10 staff, 30+ expert contributors, and offices in both Sydney and LA.

Sporteluxe offers a lot of great tips on an array of categories from wellness to sex & relationships, to careers & money…even pet health! Has Sportluxe always covered so many topics, or has the site grown with the wants and interests of your audience?
The wellness and lifestyle aspect touches on a lot, so we’ve had to ensure that we’ve got the right writers on board and guest experts to cover it all. We started with 10 pieces of content per week, and have now grown that to 50 pieces per week, globally.

2016 has been pretty busy for you, including travel, collaborations with brands like Jaguar and Converse, and most recently hosting and speaking at your own Wellness Workshop in Canberra. As a certified #girlboss, what have been some of your favorite moments for your personal brand as well as for Sportluxe this year?
That would have to be some of my speaking engagements, and of course, opening the office in LA!

While Sportluxe continues to grow and your personal brand is also booming, how do you decide which opportunities or projects to take on while still making time for yourself?
Brand association is all about longevity and credibility for both Sporteluxe and myself, and I work tirelessly to ensure that our brand fit is correct. Personal downtime is a luxury for me these days, but still a luxury that I make time for.

You’re very expressive about your love for yoga and how it makes you “see the good in everything.” Can you tell us a little bit about your personal yoga journey?
I started practicing yoga in 2014 as form of exercise and moving meditation, and it quickly became an obsession. It’s addictive! That feeling I get when I’m practicing and when I’ve finished, I can’t wait to get to my next class. I decided to complete my 200+ hours certification in June 2014. The hippy-ness aside, yoga continues to be a life changer for me.

When not looking effortlessly cool in yoga athleisure, we also love your personal day-to-day style. What are some of your go-to brands and why?
At the moment, I’m into James Perse, Rag and Bone, Stone Cold Fox, Alo Yoga and of course, Nike. I’m all about comfort and elegance, so I’ll always pair my outfits with something that ties in a but of femininity.

Girl, talk about travel envy! You have been around the world this past year – from Malibu to the Amalfi Coast. Tell us about some of your favorite destinations, and the one thing everyone needs to do if they’re ever in the city.
This is true – it has definitely been a busy year, haha. Ok, in Malibu, you have to check out Malibu Farm restaurant for Brunch (just off the PCH). In Rome, you must try the espresso and Nutella croissant at La Buvette. In Positano, hire a self-drive boat for the day and explore the coastline, everything is postcard worthy and dreamy. I had to pinch myself every single day!

What are some of your favorite Instagram accounts to follow and why?
I’m actually not a big scroller on IG. I post, but I hardly check out my feed. A few times a week, though, I’ll always check out @Kaliekloss, @tashoakley and @stonecoldfox.

Some of Sportluxe’s food Insta shots really make our mouths water (hello, banana buckwheat porridge)! What’s your favorite new recipe and why?
Check out @TalineGabriel. Her recipes are ah-mazing! You have to have a peek, because once you see her images and recipes, everything becomes your favorite.

Sportluxe has already had some cool contributors, like Kayla Itsines and P.E Nation’s Pip Edwards. Who would be some of your future dream collaborators and why?
Yeah, we have been very lucky to continue to work with such amazing talent. I would love to work with Caitlin Turner or Rachel Brathen!

Powerful bishes are pretty much always on the go, which we all know can often lead to some bad choices when it comes to food or daily fitness. Any tips or tricks to staying on track on those busiest of days?
Prepare, prepare, prepare – I know I sound like an mother but if you know you have hectic week, take the time to get organized, write a to-do list, map out your week on your calendar, prepare snacks and pack workout gear so that you have no excuses. And ALWAYS make time for “you time” everyday.

What are some of the best pieces of advice you’ve ever been given and by whom?
“Don’t sweat the small stuff” – my mom always said that to me, and it always helps me put things in perspective when I’m under the pump.

What does MISSBISH mean to you?
The empowerment of personal street style, a positive attitude and girl bosses.
