In the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s destruction in Houston, celebrities like Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, and Miley Cyrus are doing their part to donate to relief funds. As of now, 31 people have reportedly died, and many more have been injured. Thousands have been displaced and are currently seeking shelter in any safe, dry place that they can find. Around the country, selfless citizens are sending clothing and shoes, non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and more to help our fellow Americans.

According to a statement made in The Houston Chronicle, Beyoncé said her heart goes out to her hometown. It’s reported that she made a “significant” monetary donation. Additionally, the Kardashians pledged $500,000, Drake posted about working with local relief groups, and Cyrus contributed to American Red Cross. Selena Gomez, Kevin Hart, Minaj, The Chainsmokers, DJ Khaled, and Dwayne Johnson have also made contributions and encouraged others to do so as well.

There are a number of ways to get involved, including Hart’s fund, which you can donate to right here, or the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund right here.
