ALDA is a group of five fierce models starting a movement to change the fashion industry by redefining modeling. These revolutionary women are striving to remove categories, labels and limitations. Ashley Graham, Danielle Redman, Inga Eiriksdottir, Julie Henderson, and Marquita Pring are all former Ford plus-division models who have come together to push the limits in fashion by removing divisions and boundaries between "models" and "plus-size models." ALDA's goal is "to see what could be done beyond industry standards linked to the ‘curvaceous’, ‘voluptuous’ and ‘sexy’ plus-size model.”

Fashion and media dictate the perception of beauty at a very early age. Girls grow up idolizing stereotypically thin models which are often on the covers of magazines or seen on runways. However, ALDA describes this as a misconception of beauty. ALDA believes that women don't have to be a certain shape, size or color to be beautiful. Women do not need to change the way they look and should embrace who they are whether born a natural zero or blessed with a booty.

These inspirational models are being featured in the February Issue of BUST Magazine, titled "Let's Get Physical." The feature sends a positive message, women of all shapes and sizes can look amazing rocking leggings and sports bras. Check out the empowering images above and the behind the scene footage above.
