Gearing up for the 2016 Summer Olympics, Caitlyn Jenner proudly wore her gold medal on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine. Jenner revealed in the interview that, "the decathlon for me was the ultimate in what people think of as manhood." She continued to explain, "so for me it was a good place to hide. I had a need to prove myself, that maybe that woman that's living inside of me really isn't living there."
This wasn't the first time Jenner graced the cover of Sports Illustrated. The first time she appeared on the magazine was as Bruce after winning the decathlon in 1976. Watch the video above and read the full interview on Sports Illustrated's website.
