Green Queens in the Cannabis Industry | Join Our MISSBISH Sessions Co-Hosted with Create and Cultivate

The MISSBISH Slack Community is all about supporting one another, discussing issues and topics we care about, and learning new things! The Slack Community is a perfect way to talk to like-minded individuals and genuinely connect with one another in a space that's all our own! Our next MISSBISH Sessions: Green Queens in the Cannabis Industry is perfect for those who want to learn about this quickly growing industry!

The online Q+A will focus on the cannabis industry through the lens of some of the women entrepreneurs who continue to lead from within it. Co-hosted by our friends at Create and Cultivate, we will get to talk to four different women in the industry. Each of the women has a completely different and unique role, which gives us the opportunity to get an intimate look into this world. We gathered a hardworking and super intelligent panel, made up of Suzanne Shpall, Lorna Donohoe, Jazmin Hupp, and Anja Charbonneau.

Suzanne Shpall – Suzanne is Flower Shop’s Creative Director and Head of Product Development. She not only oversees all creative initiatives for Flower Shop brands, but is also integrally involved in developing strategic partnerships, event curation and go-to-market strategy. Having previously launched her own edibles brand, Highland Pantry, Suzanne has a unique understanding of what it takes to build a business in cannabis.

Lorna Donohoe – Lorna Donohoe is Head of Brand Marketing and Strategic Initiatives at Flower Shop. In her role she oversees press and marketing activations for Flower Shop clients as well as aligning Flower Shop brands with strategic partners and influencers.  Prior to joining Flower Shop Lorna Donohoe founded a boutique marketing, public relations and licensing consultancy in Los Angeles, creating landmark campaigns and programs for leading brands and start-ups.

Jazmin Hupp –Jazmin Victoria Hupp co-founded Women Grow, the largest professional network in the cannabis industry. Launched in 2014, Women Grow has connected over 25,000 entrepreneurs at events in 45 cities across the US & Canada. The organization hit $1 million in revenue in 2015, with no outside funding. Jazmin has also been named a “genius entrepreneur” by Fortune Magazine and Forbes considers her one of the “top businesswomen” in the cannabis industry.

Anja Charbonneau – Anja Charbonneau is the founder of Broccoli magazine, a women-led publication looking at cannabis through the lens of art, culture and fashion. Anja's background is in creative publishing and photography, and she was previously the creative director at Kinfolk. Anja lives in Portland, Oregon but works internationally with her team and collaborators.
