In Less Than 24 Hours Nike Received More Than $43 Million Worth Of Media Exposure
Nike has caused a media frenzy in the last 24 hours with the announcement of former NFL player Colin Kaepernick as the face of their new campaign. The football player took to Twitter yesterday to share the photo with the slogan “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.” Regardless of if you think it’s a positive or negative move for the brand, Nike received more than $43 million worth of media exposure in less than 24 hours since the reveal! Many may think that most of that media exposure is negative, however, the numbers are in and it looks like $10.91million is negative and $19.01million is positive exposure.
Kaepernick hasn't played since 2016 since he began kneeling during the National Anthem to protest against police brutality and racism. This is only the first of many steps in this partnership.
