You went from singing in your bedroom to being noticed by artists such as Pharrell, how did this feel? Did you always know this was the route you wanted to pursue in life?
It felt amazing to be noticed by big talent. I was only 13 when I was posting videos online and I immediately got noticed. I've been singing and creating my whole life.

How has your Latino background and growing up in the Bronx, NY shaped and influenced who you are today?
That's hard to answer since it's who I am. But I can tell you moving away and experiencing other cultures and countries opened my eyes and made me so much prouder of who I am. Being able to experience someone else's culture and also allowing them to experience yours.

Who is your biggest inspiration in the music industry?
The big legends like Kanye West, Beyoncé, and Michael Jackson not only for their music but for their success and how hard they work.

"I want to reach everyone. I want everyone to listen and connect with my music so there is so much more work and music to do."

Who would be your dream artist to collaborate with?
Kanye West, Beyoncé, Sade, Shakira, Marilyn Manson (imagine how crazy that sh*t would sound), The Weeknd, Kid Cudi... The list goes on.

What do you like to do when you’re not working on music?
Sleep, lol.

How do you balance your career and your personal life?
It's hard because I just want to devote my whole life to my career and as soon as I chill and take personal time I feel guilty.

What can we hope to see from you in the near future? Any projects you can tell us about?
I'll be dropping single after single which will eventually lead to an EP and then will lead to an album. I want to reach everyone. I want everyone to listen and connect with my music so there is so much more work and music to do.

3 hidden gems in New York?
Can't tell you, they're hidden.
