Jeremy Scott Brings Controversy In New Moschino Fall 18 Ad Campaign
Jeremy Scott has debuted a colorful new campaign for Moschino's Fall 2018 collection, starring Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Soo Joo Park.
In the imagery, dubbed "Illegal Aliens," each model is body painted with bright colors like blue and orange, while the clothing and hair choices pay tribute to the style of former first lady Jackie Kennedy. Scott says of the campaign, "The entire concept of my ad campaign was to bring attention the U.S. administration’s harsh stance towards 'illegal aliens'. I painted the models in my show and this campaign as a way to bring attention to this and discuss what exactly is an 'alien.' Are they orange, blue, yellow, green? No they are our friends, neighbors, co workers, relatives and people we love."
