BISHES Get It Done: MISSBISH Entrepreneurs on Branding and Growing Your Business | Sign Up for our Sessions
MISSBISH is here to drive the conversation forward, give women a platform to share their stories, and tools to grow to be your best! One of the tools we offer is through our Slack Community, where once a month we host Slack Sessions to pick the brains of the women who inspire us. Our next Slack Session will focus on the bosses who get it done: MISSBISH Entrepreneurs on Branding and Growing Your Business.
In this session, we will talk intimately with four women who have founded their own business. With a focus on marketing, branding, creating a business plan and more, we will be able to talk candidly with the women who have been there themselves. The panel will be made up of Poppy Lissiman, Sarah Levey, Kendra Studdert, and Courtney Casgraux.
Poppy Lissiman is the founder of her namesake accessories brand- known for it’s sunglasses and handbags you’ve probably double clicked a million times on social media. The accessories designer is based in Australia but is known globally for leading the industry in bold pieces. A MISSBISH favorite- her pieces are made from ethically sourced materials, proving that you can lead in fashion without harming the planet.
Sarah Levey is the Co-Founder of Y7 Studio, 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and certified health coach. After 5 years living in NYC, Sarah traded in her job in fashion to devote her time to growing Y7. Sarah, along with her husband and Co-Founder Mason, have successfully opened 10 studios to-date, bringing the sweat dripping, beat bumping, candlelit yoga experience from Brooklyn to Manhattan to Los Angeles.
Kendra Studdert and Courtney Casgraux are co-founders of LA’s favorite beauty Salon, GBY Beauty. The two best friends and dream duo created GBY to offer in-house lashes, waxing, microblading and more. They may offer beauty services at their two LA locations but what has made their business long-lasting has been their vision for trends and styling. In addition, they also run The Cycle Girl: a physician approved brand for teens specializing in feminine hygiene products and education.
