This is probably one of the yummiest smoothies I’ve ever made. It started as an experiment, trying to use up some leftover cottage cheese, and somehow ended up being something that tastes like a cinnamon bun. I gave it to my boyfriend and he said he couldn’t believe it was good for you – he said it put a smile on his face all day! (Sure... haha.)
What You Need: Serves 1
1 frozen banana
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats (uncooked)
1/4 cup cottage cheese (or greek yogurt)
1 1/2 - 2 tbsp. coconut sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
What To Do:
1. Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth.
2. Serve immediately.
