Pharrell Williams recently joined Ellen on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and shared a powerful message of positivity with the audience. “We all have to get used to everyone’s differences,” said Williams. “We have to understand that this is a big, gigantic, beautiful, colorful world. And it only works with inclusion and empathy.”
His appearance comes just days after American gospel singer Kim Burrell made headlines denouncing homosexuals. She was due to perform with Williams on Ellen’s show, but Ellen revoked her offer following the remarks. Although Williams “loves” Burrell, he respectfully disagrees with her statements.
