Serena Williams is kind of amazing. As if 71 single championships, 22 Glam Slam Titles, and $77 million in prize money wasn't impressive enough, she also runs a successful clothing line, appeared in a cameo in Beyoncé’s Lemonade, and continues to dominate the court with her sister, Venus Williams, in doubles at Wimbledon.
Williams is featured on the latest cover of SELF magazine; and in her interview, she addresses being attacked for her athletic body and the media's perception of beauty. Williams has been the subject of scrutiny for her strong and unapologetic personality, and her equally strong body. She goes on to say, “I love my body, and I would never change anything about it.” Through self-love and determination, she has been able to create a unique and powerful image for women to be proud of, both on and off the court.
