Fashion illustrator Bil Donovan has created customized portraits for Christian Dior since 2009. Ironically, the acclaimed artist was told by professors once-upon-a-time that he didn't have what it takes to be successful. But it was a Vogue event that helped put him on the map and transform his career.
Now he travels the world with Dior and has taught illustration at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and School of Visual Arts in New York City. His work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, New York Magazine, and The MET's Costume Institute.
