Black Eyed Peas returns to their earlier hip hop sound with a new track release "Yesterday". The new track was released with an accompanying music video set in a record shop, giving the group a chance to celebrate hip hop's forerunners with each member of the group holding up different records, such as N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton" and Nu-Tang's "Killa Bees." However, it doesn't go unnoticed that this is the first track from the group since Fergie's departure.

The group return from their five-year hiatus, and it couldn't come at a better time, as this year marks their 20th Anniversary. The group has left their followers wanting more, with Will.i.am repeating at the end "I'm taking you to the future," leaving many wondering what they'll do next.
