#WhatWentDown at I.AM.GIA’s Pop-Up Shop & Launch Party in L.A.
DateNovember 14, 2017
Since its launch nearly six months ago, the Australian brand I.AM.GIA has taken over every It-Girl’s wardrobe out there. Scroll through Instagram, and you’re bound to see the bold, contemporary styles on the hottest (and coolest) girls around like Emily Ratajkowski, Kaia Gerber, and one of the brand’s biggest supporters, Bella Hadid.
Whether you’re a veteran fan of the brand or you haven’t had a chance to check them out, their latest pop-up shop at Fred Segal in LA on Sunset Blvd. was the perfect spot to grab some goods.
Once inside, we found the latest collection from I.AM.GIA highlights including the Cobain Pant (as seen on Bella Hadid), the Pixie Jacket (a super soft faux fur zip up, perfect for winter), and the Burn Boiler (a full body jumpsuit designed to turn heads). Prices range from about $54 to $184 USD, meaning that you can look incredible and stay within your budget.
With all the current, well-deserved hype, co-founder and Creative Director Alana Pallister, along with her sister and co-founder Stevie Cox, threw a party on Friday, November 10th to celebrate the L.A. way. In an open loft in West Hollywood, the crowd packed in wearing their favorite pieces from the line in ways that highlighted their own personal style. Even if you saw a repeat of the high-waisted, white patent Eclipse pant or blood-red Burn Boiler 2.0 jumpsuit, each girl added their own twist to it, proving that I.AM.GIA really is designed with every kind of woman in mind.
Outside, massive billboards adorned the building, creating a daytime buzz with passersby as they prayed for a store opening (maybe something we’ll see in the near future?). Downstairs, DJ Jordyn Woods hyped up everyone as munchie-inspired snacks like caramel corn and fried macaroni were passed around. Jasmine Sanders, Lil Za, Alana Hadid, Shaun Ross, Amelia Hamlin, and Sahara Ray were a few of many celebs of the evening seen having a good time and rocking their I.AM.GIA looks in front of a floor-to-ceiling logo’d out entry. On the rooftop, SVEDKA cocktails and Winc wine made everyone’s must-drink lists as they took in the sights of the city, until way past midnight.
The energy of the evening completely embodied I.AM.GIA’s statement-making style, and got us excited to see what’s next for the super young, but super cool brand that everyone is sweating at the moment.
